Tasting Notes

Colour – Deep purple red.

Aromas – Complex earthy bottled aged characters that are so unique to the Hunter Valley.

Palate – Displays sumptuous Chocolate/Cherry flavours, with spices and pepper with a lifted herbaceous bouquet on the palate. With further ageing a balance of firm tannins.

Oak – 25% New French Oak; 75% 2nd & 3rd year American Oak

Cuisine - Red Meats, Pasta, Wild Game and Cheeses.

Cellaring Potential - 2009 to 2016
Alcohol- 12.5%
